PhD in Sociolinguistics at the Autonomous University of Madrid. Postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Nebrija University in Madrid. She holds a Master’s Degree in Linguistics from Complutense University of Madrid. She is an expert in cognitive linguistics, conceptual metaphors, critical discourse analysis and the impact of journalistic discourse on religious minorities. Her research focuses on the political and civil representation of the Muslim religious minority in Spain and explores the rights of religious minorities, Islamic feminism and Human Rights. Her research experience includes the participation in the research project “European Muslim Civil Society: Towards a new form of belonging and political participation in Madrid, London and Paris” at the Complutense University of Madrid.
