PhD in Political Science from Complutense University of Madrid. Lecturer at the University of Cadiz and Coordinator of the Observatory of Equality and Gender Public Policies. I am a Sociologist and has a postgraduate course in Evaluation of Public Policies and Programmes. I have worked as a researcher, an evaluator and an expert in gender equality and public policies for different international organizations (UN Women, UNICEF, EvalPartners, EIGE), public institutions (MAEC, Spanish Agency for International Cooperation, etc.), Universities (UCM, UAM, FLACSO-Argentina, US, etc.) and civil society organizations (Oxfam Intermón, Save the Children, etc.). Additionally, I have been teaching Evaluation, Public Policies and Gender Equality at a postgraduate level since 2002. I have focused my activity on analysing how gender and equality issues are addressed and evaluated in public policies at international, national and local level. Currently my research covers Gender, Intersectionality, Participation, Public Policy and Development with special emphasis on the study of the implementation and evaluation processes.
