PhD in Sociology and Anthropology from the Complutense University of Madrid. Graduate in Sociology from the same university and Postgraduate in Social Research and Data Analysis from the Center for Sociological Research. Her research focuses on the field of international migration, from a transnational and intersectional perspective, using qualitative and quantitative techniques. She has worked as a researcher in different public and private institutions (Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas, Instituto de la Mujer y Andaira Cooperativa SA) and has participated in the design and execution of projects on various topics (human trafficking, temporary workers in agriculture, process of aging of people with disabilities or functional diversity, evaluation of municipal public policies, teaching innovation and methodological innovation). She is currently a professor in the Department of Sociology and Gender Studies at Syracuse University in its international program in Madrid.
