Doctorate Degree in Juridical Science (JSD) from the University of Notre Dame (USA). Lecturer of International Law in the Department of Law and International Relations at Nebrija University. She also obtained a Master’s Degree in International Human Rights Law (LL.M.) from the University of Notre Dame and an LL.B. from Haifa University, Israel. She is the recipient of a Fulbright scholarship for her doctoral studies. Her research interests focus on the international protection of human rights, and she has published in high-impact journals such as The Journal of Business Ethics or Women & Criminal Justice. Dr. Boulos gained an extensive experience as a human rights lawyer in Israel. Her experience includes working for 6 years as a staff attorney for the “Association for Civil Rights in Israel”, where she litigated numerous cases before the High Court of Justice. She also served as a member of the “Working Group for Equality in Personal Status Law”, a coalition of organizations and professionals working on advancing the rights of Palestinian women citizens of Israel in family law. She also worked as a graduate research intern in REDRESS, London.
